    Tarangire National Park – Tanzania

    During our entire trip to Tanzania, what impressed me the most was our 2-day safari on the Tanzanian mainland. Tarangire National Park is beautifully situated in the eastern part of Tanzania. It may not be as famous as Serengeti or Ngorongoro, but it has a lot to offer. It is primarily known for its numerous gigantic African baobab trees and herds of elephants. The name Tarangire comes from the river that flows through the park, the Tarangire River. The park covers a vast area, approximately 2,600 square kilometers.
